✅ Step 1: Understand what Koalendar asks for
Koalendar only asks for what it needs to manage your bookings:
- Sign you in and read your profile (User.Read).
- Read and write your calendars (Calendars.ReadWrite): to check when you're busy and to add new bookings.
- Keep access (offline_access): so your calendar stays in sync when you're not logged in.

✅ Step 2: Ask your IT admin to approve Koalendar
Send this article to your Microsoft 365 administrator. They can approve Koalendar in one of two ways:
- From the request: if your organization has admin consent requests turned on, click Request approval on the Microsoft screen. Your admin approves it in the Microsoft Entra admin center, under Enterprise applications → Admin consent requests.
- By connecting once themselves: the admin logs in to Koalendar, connects their Outlook calendar, and checks Consent on behalf of your organization on the Microsoft screen.
✅ Step 3: Connect your calendar again
Once Koalendar is approved, click your name at the top right, then Calendars → Add a calendar account → Outlook, and sign in with your work account.
