Connecting your iCloud calendar
We integrate with iCloud calendar to allow you to check for conflicts and create events! Here's how to set up your iCloud calendar integration.
Create an app-specific password for your Apple ID
Before connecting your iCloud calendar, you'll need to create an app-specific password with Apple. This app-specific password is different from your regular Apple password. Apple requires you to use an app-specific password and to have two-factor authentication enabled to connect to third-party applications like Koalendar
To create an app-specific password:
- Sign in to https://appleid.apple.com/.
- Under Security, click on "App-Specific Passwords", add a new password, and click Create
- Copy your new App-Specific password
Add your iCloud calendar in Koalendar
Head to your Calendars section in Koalendar. Then, click "Add a calendar account" and select "iCloud Calendar":
Enter your iCloud email address and paste in your app-specific password.
That's it! You should now see a list of your iCloud calendars in your Calendars area. Toggle on the calendars that you'd like to check for conflicts. You may also wish to update to which calendar new appointments are added to.
